Adult Sunday School

Visiting Missionary: During Sunday School this Sunday, December 7th, we’ll be blessed to hear from one of Hillcrest’s supported missionaries, Rachel Dority. She will share about the work God is doing through Tyndale Seminary in Amsterdam. We invite you to join us as we celebrate how the Lord is moving around the world and take the opportunity to get to know Rachel and her ministry more deeply.

Kids Christmas Choir

Nothing says Christmas like the sweet voices of children singing the story of Jesus! The kids choir will sing Sunday, December 7th, during both services.

Free Christmas Movie!

One of our Gospel Community groups is hosting a special Christmas movie event! Everyone is invited to join them Sunday, December 14th, at 2 PM at the Rivoli Theater to watch The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. This event is free, but space is limited—click the link below to sign up!

Join us this Advent Season

This Advent, we invite you and your family to explore the story of Christ’s coming, starting Sunday, November 30th.
  • For Kids & Families: Follow along with The Expected One by James Scott. This short and sweet family devotional highlights the many promises of Christ—from His birth to His ascension—reminding us of His love, hope, joy, and peace during the Christmas season.   • For Teens & Adults: The Advent Project, a free devotional series from Biola University, celebrates the beauty and meaning of Advent through art, music, poetry, prayer, Scripture, and daily reflections. Beginning on the first day of Advent and continuing through Epiphany, this resource helps individuals quiet their hearts and enter into a daily routine of worship and reflection, grounding us in the miracle of the Word made flesh. Severe Weather Policy

Just a quick reminder about how we handle cancellations and postponements for services and Wednesday night activities during severe weather. If severe weather hits, we’ll make a decision and share it in a few ways:
  • Email: Everyone on our email list will get notified. Not on the list? Call the church office at (402) 643-2316 or sign up online at hillcrestefc.org/email.
  • App: We’ll also send a push notification through the Church Center app.
  • Social Media: Check our Facebook and Instagram pages. Feel free to share posts to help spread the word.
  • Local News: Updates will also be shared on KOLN 1011 news.
Wednesday nights: If Seward Public Schools cancel classes, our Wednesday activities are automatically canceled.
